Yesterday, I was in a video conference with a friend and they commented how quarantine is never boring when you have kids. That is so true because you are constantly coming up with activities, game, movies, and other entertainers for the kids. Today we are here to give you 15 Fun activities to do with your little’s while you are stuck at home.

Play some card games

We played go fish the other day and it turned out pretty great! There was a really old card game in the play room, who knew! We played like 5 rounds and it lasted almost a half hour!

Start some seeds indoors for a garden:

We really don’t know how long this social-distancing phase will last, or how long covid-19 will continue to spread. One thing we decided to (try) do was plant a garden this year so that we would have fresh produce, and something fun to tend to this summer! Over the weekend we started our little seedlings indoors! We planted banana peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, and lettuce! More fun things you can do when starting seeds is make little garden markers for them! Kids love cutting these out!

Prime Reading:

I’ve had amazon prime for almost 6 months now and I’m pretty attached to it! I just discovered another great feature last week and I am absolutely hooked! The Prime Reading section which offers 1000’s of free books from kids books to romances and so much more! I got two great 5 minute story books for absolutely free with the prime app! These were major books too: The Frozen (1) Five minute story book, and the Disney fairy tale 5 minute story book! Use this link to get 30 days of free Amazon prime here!

Do a Foot Spa!

If you are anything like me, which I truly hope you aren’t in this regard, then you will need to really prep those feet for summer! Just mix a little sugar with a little olive oil and you have a home made foot scrub. This is a great activity to do with your daughter. We just did this yesterday!

If you want to get a little fancy you can use our special promo code and get 40% off Hebepe Green Tea Body Scrub (here)! Use this code before 4/10/2020: 25JFVYHR

  • Make your sugar scrub in a small bowl with a few table spoons of sugar and a table spoon of olive oil.
  • Run an inch of warm water in the bathtub.
  • Sit on the edge of the bath tub with your daughter and soak your feet for 10 minutes.
  • While your feet are soaking you could read a book!
  • Scrub your feet for with the scrub when the time is up!
  • Pat them dry.
  • Apply lotion.

FREE Fitbit Premium Dance Workouts

Fitbit extended their free trial to 90 days! This free trial is available RIGHT NOW! I decided to jump on this and get fitbit premium to try to get into shape over the next three months while I’m stuck at home and it is free! WHY NOT? They even give you the date to cancel it by so you don’t have to pay anything. It is a total win win! Then, once I was signed up I found there was yoga, meditation, and DANCE videos.

I’m hooked. My daughter and I have been doing the yoga and dance workouts as part of her homeschool P.E. class the last couple of days! It is great to count for some of those homeschool hours. It gets us moving and burns off some of that little kid energy, AND it is a great workout for us mama’s. While it is free you all should totally get it!

Thanks for stopping by today to check out 15 fun activities to do in quarantine. Yesterdays post of 10 fun activities ended up being one of my most successful posts the first day out of the gate. I am shocked by the massive amount of views on that one post! Just be sure to stay home, and keep tuning in to posts for more activity ideas!
