Puff and the Thunderstorm is a darling little story about a duck overcoming his fear of thunderstorms. It counts the seconds between the lightning and the thunder and explains how to get to safety. Wrapped up in a cute book with my iconic character, Puff, a little duckling.
I wrote this one because a lot of the Puff the Duck books are about overcoming fears. I also have Puff Learns to Swim, which is a book about overcoming swimming fears. Puff Goes Camping is a darling book about overcoming a fear of the dark. Puff Goes Caroling is about overcoming stage fright. Then, finally, Puff Gets Lost on Valentine’s Day is about not getting scared when you get lost. I thought storm fears would be the perfect addition to this series.
A Ready Read for Preschool and Kindergarten Reading Levels. This book is perfect for those who are just starting to match spoken words with those on the page. It has simple vocabulary, short sentences, large print, and pictures!

The Little Easter Unicorn Talks Too Much
Stand-alone Easter book about punctuation for elementary-age kids
The Little Easter Unicorn was published in 2022 and continues to be my best-selling book! It features an adorable rainbow unicorn and a cute white rabbit who banter back and forth about Easter baskets. The book is designed to teach punctuation to younger elementary students (think Kindergarten to second grade). This unicorn is super chatty, and the bunny gets a little annoyed about it. It’s both funny and educational.
With large print, simple sentences, and common sight words, it helps early readers practice punctuation, sentence structure, and familiar vocabulary. The story also includes a fun activity at the end for extra learning. It works great in easter baskets or paired with punctuation lessons for homeschoolers.
