With the back-to-school steadily upon you, you are probably starting to feel it as a teacher or homeschool mom. There are five fun school activities that you must integrate into your classroom this semester to ensure the kids have plenty of fun.

Decorate the School Bus Fine Motor Activity

The first activity sheet you need is a great way to welcome your kindergarten students or welcome back those in first and second grade. It is a decorated the school bus project. You can use it among your other fine motor activities as your students must cut out the decorations at the bottom of the page themselves.

The sheet is done up in full color to hold the student’s attention, but it has other benefits too:

  •  Works with fine motor skills
  • Silly kids in Halloween costumes in the bus to make kids laugh
  • There is a large line for students to write their name

All About Me Introduction Activity

The all about me introduction worksheet puts a classic spin on the traditional act of writing your name on the chalkboard as a teacher. With this worksheet, your students get a full-color printable chalkboard with places to answer introduction questions. There are some classic back to school questions to answer:

  • What is your name?
  • What grade are you in?
  • What is your favorite color?
  • What is your favorite game?

Students who are not very good at writing can draw on the worksheet. This worksheet can also go in your fine motor activities bank because they can cut out the “chalkboard” magnates and glue them on the page for decoration.

All About My Summer Writing or Drawing Activity

This five activity printable welcome back to school pack aims to get to know your students in a fun and relaxed way. Another activity you will find in this pack is the All About My Summer worksheet done up in a lovely full-color blue illustration with summer vacation pictures around the border. For this hands-on activity, or students can write or draw:

  • All about their summer
  • One memorable moment from their summer
  • Summer Vacation

It serves as a great keepsake for parents. Or a great momentum of your children’s drawing and writing progress if you are a homeschool mom.
