Easter is all about the kids. It’s a time to celebrate new life and chocolate bunnies and Jesus, but it’s also a time to reflect on what makes this holiday unique for your child. If you’re looking for an activity to help you get into the spirit of the season, try writing an Easter journal!

How do you celebrate Easter?

Easter is a Christian holiday celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ, who died for our sins. It is also a time to celebrate new life, spring, and family.

How do you celebrate Easter? How do you make it special for your kids?

Essentials for Every Childs Easter Basket

You can put many amazing things in your child’s Easter Basket that will simply make their day!

  • Candy
  • Journal
  • Eggs
  • Crayons and coloring book
  • Straws, cups, spoons, and paint (for painting eggs)
  • Craft supplies such as glue or tape, paper punches, markers/pens/crayons, etc. (to make projects)
  • Books

Books are pretty broad, so let’s break down some awesome books you could include in an Easter basket! Fiction books with seasonal themes are great for springtime. Non-fiction books about Easter traditions. Activity books that help kids learn their colors or count to 10 are perfect for toddlers. Stories about Jesus’ resurrection! We like to include at least one Bible storybook in every basket.

You can also include toys if you have some extra money left over!

What is your child’s favorite Easter treat?

Easter Journal For Kids

This Easter journal is the perfect gift for kids who love to color and draw. It is also great for those who are starting to write. The Easter Journal has 100 cute pages with small bunnies on the corner of each one. Perfectly sized at 6″ x 9″. Paperback notebook with a matte finish. “Notes” is written on the front, so it’s easy to find when looking for things in your child’s bag.

The Easter holiday is a perfect time for a child to learn about their own religion and the history of Christianity. Children are naturally curious about things like this, and they must understand their roots to continue with their faith throughout life. For example, our Easter Journal could be used by your children as part of an Easter lesson plan a school or at home. You can get this easter journal on Amazon!
