We are so excited to be in WEEK 4 of the San Diego Zoo summer camp! We have made it four weeks and learned about all kinds of different animals! Some times we have a light week of our little safari club and some times we have a heavy week! I would categorize this one as one of our lighter weeks!
Episode 4
This weeks theme is the misunderstood meat eaters!!!!! So Exciting! We get to make lion crafts and learn about the LARGER animals! Check out the Episode on the San Diego Zoo’s Website by clicking the video link above!
Lion art!
In the video, they show you how to make a lion out of six hearts! It is an adorable and super easy craft to do!
The Lion Crackers!
This week is all about lions! We didn’t have all the required materials to make the lion snack so ours looks a little different from the one in the video. Plus, apparently it is not that appitizing for kids anyhow. It was fun to make though.
The Food Chain!
We created a food chain diagram because food chains were talked about extensively in this video! We put it in our scrapbook for the summer program!
