1.) Rubber Ducks in Shaving Cream Sensory Activity!

Last week we did a rubber ducks in shaving cream sensory activity! We put the shaving cream in the sink for super easy clean up! My daughter made “duck snowmen” and just had a super fun time playing in the fluffy stuff! You can get some really fun rubber ducks from amazon here!

2.) Lego Pirate Ships

It doesn’t mater what kind of Lego’s you have, all you have to do is get the kiddos thinking creatively! Give them the challenge to build a cool Lego pirate ship! If you don’t have any Lego’s at home, here is a great Lego starter set from amazon!

3.) Lite-Brite Crafts

I had a Lite-Brite when I was little and my daughter got one for Easter! We sat down over the weekend and made an entire boat sculpture using ALL of the Lite-Brites in the set! These are fun for kids around 4 and older! They are also great ways to kill some time since one picture is pretty time consuming! You can snag a Lite-Brite from amazon here if you don’t have one! It is the one we have! You can even get the Lite-Brite Refill images here! I was just thinking about where I could find these when we were doing our Lite-Brite picture!

4.) Bug hunt!

Our fourth activity is a BUG hunt! The other day when we were outside doing some of our NO-prep backyard activities (you can read about them here) we discovered this really cool bug! It kinda looks like a lady bug, but the head is a little weird! I have no idea what it is! Leave me a comment down below if you do!

5.) Hamster Purse Adventures!

So, this activity only really works if you have a hamster or other small rodent at home! My daughter has been putting her hamster in a little rodent purse (carrier). She has been caring it all over the place and gives it little treats! We even took it on a car ride to look for bears! (learn more about the bear hunt activity here). We got this little pink soft rodent carrier off amazon last year and it works really great! Our little hamster hasn’t chewed through it yet! If you want one too you can get it here! They come in a variety of colors! For size reference, the hamster peaking out of it is a 4.5 inch Fancy bear hamster!
