Well, I am officially running out of things to say. Being in quarantine, coupled with having the flu makes me a pretty boring person on to of my already pretty mundane personality. Not only are we not going out because of Covid-19, we are also not doing very many home activities because of influenza B. We are getting into a bit of a routine this week, and I’m not sure it is really a good one.

Our Not So Great Quarantine Routine:

  • 10:00 Wake Up: Shower, feed animals, and get ready for the day
  • 11:00 Have Brunch!
  • 12:00 Play a little bit and clean something
  • 1:00 Do preschool in the afternoons,
  • 2:45 Snack
  • 3:00 Lay around because the flu sucks and I feel drained
  • 6:30 Have dinner at some point
  • 7:30 Play/watch movie
  • 10:00 Go to bed.

That has pretty much been our existence for the last week. During the lay around part I have been continuing my job search and typing up some blog posts here and there. When my classes start back up remotely next I think things will look a lot differently.

Furthermore, I am hopping on the blog to let you know it has been almost two weeks of us practicing social distancing. I have been looking back over our time in quarantine and all the tips that we have come up with. Today I am bringing them to you in one big list style format!

Some more tips to keep you from going crazy (and still stay germ free!)

  1. Give the kiddos a small task to do to get them involved. This could be something like feeding the animals or putting away the silverware!
