Hello everyone! There is 7 weeks until Easter if anyone is wondering! What better way to prepare for Easter and get the kids excited/asking about Easter basket contents than to go through a few fun ideas and how to use them! Sometimes you get those kids toys for holiday, and you wonder what the kid is going to do with them. Sometimes, I think the kids wonder this too, because they are played with for an all of about 5 minutes then they are tossed aside, into the pit of toys and never seen again…..is your toy box more of an dark nightmare too? Anyway, that is totally besides the point because the toys we are talking about today are NOT the confusing toys that wind up at the bottom of the toy box!

The Rainy Day Game!

The rainy day game is a simple game that my daughter apparently learned off of Peppa pig, though I thought she learned it from school. Regardless of where she actually came up with the game, it is one she asks to play a lot, and better yet it is super simple and actually uses one of the many toys she has! While crafts and things are great, it is also great to find ways to play with and use the toys that the kids have. The rainy day game is like a simple game of hide and seek. You take a rubber duck (we have one like this) , and hide it somewhere around the house. Then, your kid(s) search for the duck and try to find it! For one round I got an accomplice, little old man dog, and hid the duck in his bed as you can see! You can also do it the other way around and have the kiddos hid the duck and you find it. Use hits like warmer or colder while playing to let them know if they are near the duck or not!

We have a rubber linked above but here are some more cute rubber ducks that you could choose from!

Here’s the Tea!

Host a little tea party with your darling daughter! My daughter has had this year party set since she was 2 and she still plays with it! We have lost a few of the pieces here and there over the years but this doesn’t seem to affect it’s “playability” factor. This is a mini mouse tea set featuring cups with mini and Daisy in fashionable outfits! The color scheme is pink (dark and light) and purple! You can grab the set off Amazon here!

Bratz Doll Collection!

I had this Bratz collection when I was young, and my daughter has taken to playing with it too! To my surprise these Bratz Dolls are still for sale! You can get the blond one Chloe here! We have the case with all the cloths, and a variety of dolls. In the above photos we did a baby Bratz Dolls photo shoot with their Mama’s!

My daughter loves to change their cloths. I think we have been giving these dolls new outfits at least once a day for the past week or so since we discovered them in one of my old boxes. We have Jade, Yasmine, Chloe, Sasha, and meygan!

My daughter’s favorites are by far the baby Bratz Dolls! Our only boy Bratz Doll is Cameron from the wedding Bratz Dolls Set! They sell boy Bratz Dolls too! This little fact really surprised my daughter because she thought all the Bratz Dolls had BIG colorful lips! Get your baby Bratz Dolls here!

These, are the only baby Bratz Dolls that we have, my daughter likes to play games like babies vs big Bratz Dolls, who will win? She likes to pair them up like I said above with the Mama’s and their babies, and she lives changing their cloths!

Bedtime Bear Snuggles!

This bear is litterally the softest teddy bear ever. It is made from memory foam! It is such a great addition to any bedroom as well. I wanted to throw it in hear on this list because my daughter snuggles with it every night! It’s name is lullaby, and it’s a Ty Beanie Baby.

So, if you are looking for a great gift idea, look no further than these “top of the toy box” picks!
