This past week we have been doing a little preschool here and there. For our preschool lesson plans we have worked through 5 letters this week. We are almost caught up to what the preschool left off on in December when they did the recap. Since my daughter is starting Kindergarten THIS coming august (which is crazy because it feels like she is still a little baby) we have been working hard to get her ready for it! So, Lets Dive into some of the lessons that we have been doing over the past week.

Before we start we have been working through a dry erase book we got. So in the lesson plans when it refers to a dry erase book lesson it is this book:

This book has been so helpful for us! For me, I write my letters a little differently than the “NORM” or what is considered to be correct for a preschooler. This book specifically walks you through how to write letters the correct way. Its my favorite Hand Writing tool for preschool so far. Since it is a dry erase book, you can practice as many times as you like AND you can use any dry erase markers you want to. If you want to join us in using this great tool for 4 and 5 year old’s about to enter kindergarten you can check it out here! Now for the Lesson Plans!

Happy New Year’s! Today’s preschool was a little more distracted than usual with all the people around and we had to have a “recess”.

December 31, 2019

Today’s preschool was a little bit trying because she didn’t want to work on preschool so we just covered some of the basics. The letter recognition didn’t go well today, and most of the letters we have been working with she didn’t recognize. With the new year’s Eve being today we have shifted our sleep schedule, which might explain the personally change!

  • Dry erase book letters Gg and Hh
  • Dry erase book ducklings tracing and farm animals counting
  • Letter recognition on the letter board
  • Letter recognition around the room (simply go around the room and look at all the letters you have around your home)

Girl Mom Specific!

If you are a girl mom then you might also be interested in incorporating some bonding activities into you routine! These could range from mother-daughter dates to completing a bucket-list. Remember that you should be making preschool fun, not just all about the worksheets and educational videos! Be sure to check out the special Mother-Daughter Activity book as a way to incorporate mother-daughter bonding into your preschool program!
