My daughter came up with this activity herself. It wasn’t until lately, I’d say the last few months or so, that she has developed a strong interest in cutting paper and drawing. So she grabbed her dinosaurs encyclopedia and began drawing the Dino’s she saw. She would have me write their names at the top of the page. This activity was so simple but it held her attention for so long that I figured I’d share it with you all today!

Supplies:
• Dinosaur book
• Notebook
• Markers

Steps

1.) Set your child up with a dinosaur book and notebook or blank paper.

2.) Give them a marker and let them draw what they see.

3.) Write the name of each dinosaur at the top of the page.

Story time
My daughter drew about 15 or so photos this way and had a great time. She called her self a dino photographer!

Thanks for stopping by! What activities has your child came up with on their own lately??? Let me know in the comments below!
