SEVEN Summer Side Hustles You Could Start Today.

  •

I love reading about side hustles and imagining the potential that they could bring in. Even if its only $10 or $20 dollars. That means a little extra spending money for summer! It means getting to do that “one more activity”. Today, I’m going to tell you about 10 easy side hustles you could start from home. Ill also tell you some of the money you could make this summer doing each of them.

Selling on Etsy: ($25-100 per summer)

Selling on Etsy is a great way to make a little bit of side money, and also get your kids involved. There are so many crafts that kids can get involved in, most little girls love doing crafts with there mom’s.  If you can make a little bit of money from the fun activities, THEN you can do more paid activities with your kids. Try a little family business bonding! It’s a win win. You can make:

Amazon Merch T-Shirts ($25 per summer)

This one is fun if you are a youtuber or blogger, or someone who would love to make branding tee shirts. It is also good if you would be interested in beginner fashion design but don’t know where to start, and also don’t have the money for a full-blown start up.

They have a print on demand technology where you simply design the shirts online, and then when one gets purchased, then amazon will print them and sell them. You get a percentage of the sale. It’s simple and people will be wearing your designs. All you need is an amazon account and an invitation from the merch site to join. Both are very easy to get. As far as your portion of the pay goes, you will be getting royalties on the order of $2-$3 per shirt. Click here to get started. Some Examples of the t-shirts made through merch are listed below.

Blogging: ($5-$100 per summer)

Blogging is my all-time favorite side hustle. I love writing and sharing my ideas with others! It’s a way to keep track of some of your memories and ideas, and really just progress as a writer. It is also a way to make money when you use things like ads and affiliated links. I personally have found that Bluehost is my all time favorite hosting service and even wrote a post on how you to can get started with a blog through Bluehost today. Read it here. I also included how you can get started with VigLinks, it’s an incredibly helpful affiliated marketing tool. All you do is set up your links and when someone clicks on them, then you get a compensation, when someone buys through the links, you get a BIGGER compensation. Why not start blogging about your summer adventures today, and earn a little money on the side?

Inbox dollars ($40 per summer)

Inbox dollars is a survey app that actually pays you to take surveys, watch TV, play games, and browse the web. I was skeptical at first, but I decided to download the app. As far as survey apps go, its a lot of fun to mess around with. The earnings aren’t big, you might get 2 cents for playing a round of a game, a quarter to a few dollars per survey you do. BUT you also get a $5 sign on bonus if you use my referral link here. So far since I have joined it I’ve earned $8.50! It’s a decent amount for just playing games. As an important side note, you can cash out your account when it reaches $30. If you love playing on your phone you could cash it out by the end of summer.

Content Creator on YouTube ($10-$75 per summer)

If blogging isn’t your thing then maybe making videos about your life is! If you are planning an interesting summer then why not share it with friends and family, while you are also making money from the ads that you put on your videos. I hear the best way to do this is through Google AdSense. You might also just like the life of a vlogger carrying your camera around all the time.

Write a book and self-publish through bn.com or Amazon e-books ($20-100 per summer)

If you love creativity, and writing, you could write a fiction book for the first month to month and a half of summer then for the rest of summer you can spend getting it put up on amazons self-publishing eBook platform, or Barnes and Nobel’s self publishing eBook platform and making your money. It might also help if you have a blog, or some other kind of social media platform (Facebook, Instagram, twitter, Pinterest) where you can advertise your book at.

Photography ($50-$1000 per summer)

If you have a way about a camera, why not advertise your services on social media and start taking some summer photos of families, kids, and pets. This is a great way for people with a love of photography to make a little extra money this summer. Honestly, In one summer it would probably only pay off IF you already have a nice camera.
