Welcome to wizard school! Today my daughter and I are starting to go through the Magic Science (for wizards only) magic kit. This kit comes with 10 magical activities to try which include making your own wizard hat and wizard wand. We’re hoping to take you through all 10 fun activities. This first post of wizard school is going to include how to make the wizard hat from the magic science kit. Magic Science kit is brought to you by Elmer’s.

Step 1 of making your wizard hat is to take a large sheet of construction paper cut out the pattern below.

Step 2 of your wizard hat is to add star stickers you can also add moon stickers if you have those on hand.

Step 3 is to fold your hat along the tab and either tape or glue it to the other side of the hat. We decided to use tape so that we can wear our hats a little faster.

Step 4 is my own added tip we couldn’t get this hat to stay on my daughter’s head so we added some elastic like you would a birthday hat. just punch holes on either side of the hat typically right above where the ears would be and then tie elastic to it.

Heres the printable cards we were given in the magic science box:

There you have it! The four steps of making your magical wizard hat. Stay tuned in the next post to discover how to make a magical wizard wand filled with crystals!
