I am so excited about the opportunity to join in on this indoor activity challenge! It was emailed to me by Alison at Pint-Sized, but here’s the link where you all can sign up! This website was an awesome discovery as well on the front of mommy daughter activities. I’m sure we will be reviewing many of these activities in the time to come.

After we signed up for the activity challenge, we were given two things. A promotional to get the hands on as we grow books/booklets on sale for about a half hour. Then next we got an email about the challenge itself, and a sneak peak into it with the list of items we would need for the challenge!

Here’s the list from the email:

  1. paper plates
  2. painter’s tape
  3. small objects
  4. spoons (or measuring cups)
  5. paint
  6. potatoes
  7. tray with sides (or a box)
  8. paper
  9. scissors
  10. string or yarn
  11. tape of any kind
  12. fabric or ribbons
  13. large cardboard box
  14. utility knife / razor blade

I think the only thing from this list that we don’t have/don’t typically get is the potatoes. Besides that it’s a list of pretty common house hold things!

I’m so excited about this opportunity for many reasons. It comes the week before I get back into classes, so it’s like our one last hurrah to spend tons of time together, before our time becomes more pressed. Next the reason I’m super excited about this challenge is that it will show me lots of simple activities to do with my daughter indoors during the winter season. This is a season that keeps us cooped up inside the house, avoiding the asthma triggers brought on my winter.

Here’s the link one last time if you want to join this live challenge alongside us!
