I think this is something that every mother wonders, even the ones that know their little toddlers to the T. In the back of your mind, you ask are these toys going to help her grow? Keep her entertained? Help her learn new skills? With that said as a mom of a three year old, this article is from one mom to another, sharing with you five of the great toys we have that work on coordination, inspire mental stimulation and growth, and keep my daughter entertained for hours on end! What more could you ask for in a birthday gift. So happy birthday to all you soon to be three year old girls. (And pardon any background mess in the photos lol)

1.) Toy kitchen anything!

Two of my daughters favorite kitchen play items are the wooden food set from Target and the Velcro cake set also from amazon. Though you can probably get items like this at other stores. I love the cooking sets that come with the toys knives and the food that Velcros together because it teaches coordination as they chop it apart, but in a supper fun way. Go ahead and throw some pots and pans in the mix, either from the toy section OR even just the dollar store pans for actual cooking. They make great ways for your little one to mix the food up. You also must check out the adorable cup cake sets that amazon has! They are prefect for motor skills for young children and really complete any kids food collection!

2.) Baby dolls!

The “You and Me Baby so Sweet” doll is her favorite! This is just a precious doll, it’s 16 inches long so it easy to carry and dress. It has a soft body with plastic legs and arms and even has eye lashes! The eyes on these dolls are just so pretty as well! They have lots of cute cloths/pj sets…or you can save a bit of money like we sometimes do and get premium doll cloths….the little pants fit just perfect, though the tops are a bit big around the neck, you can hardly tell the difference!

3.) Winnie the Pooh talking fun ABC book

This is such a great learning tools for kids wither they are just getting the hang of learning the alphabet, learning sounds, or picking out letters in order this is a fun, sing song tool! 🙂 and of course what three year old doesn’t LOVE pressing buttons. Click here to view.

4.) Play-Doh Town

This toy is a great way for kids to have fun, be artistic, and get use to the feel of something squishy on their hands (sensory activities). There are so many fun molds and play-doh sets out there, but our favorite is the Play-Doh Town because it has everything a little girl likes to play with, the houses, car and dolls. Plus tones of Play-Doh to get creative! Your little girl will be able to make Play-Doh food in the kitchen area, flowers in her garden, and if she’s a little Tom boy, all sorts of stuff for her car! We also love the Play-Doh Pet Shop set which is perfect if you are looking for something a little smaller, your child loves animals, and its only $15.99.The Basic Play-Doh set is also a must have for toddlers who love to play with Play-Doh!

Then pick up a dollar pack of Dough tools from Dollar tree and she will have little play-doh scissors for cutting the Play-Doh dolls hair, and roller for making cookies, and of course 18 other tools.

5.) Stuffed Olaf!

The ty stuffed Olaf are very well made, and sparkly for a little girl. My daughter absolutely loves hers, she has a large one, and a smaller one (she got them as gifts) and she pretends the bigger one is the smaller ones parent.
