We were sitting outside enjoying the sun yesterday and I was trying to think of some different activities to do! As I looked through Pinterest I saw so many elaborate and high prep activities, and thought even though it’s quarentine who has time for that? Many of us still have busy lives! So, I pulled together a list of 5 no prep activities to do with kids outside!
Chalk paths for scooters!
It’s time to grab the chalk bucket (you can get one on amazon here if you don’t have one already!) and the scooters! If you have a patio or front porch this Activity is super easy. Have the kids draw little paths around in chalk and ride their scooters down them! For the 4-5 year old age we love the three wheeled scooters! Get one from amazon here! They tip over less than the two wheeled ones!
Bubble parades!
Whenever we are outside we love to make a bubble parade! It’s really easy and gives us moms a little exercise too! You just take a walk and blow bubbles while your doing it! We love, love, love these bubble wands because they blow huge bubbles and are easy for little hands to hold! Get our favorite bubble wands off amazon here!
Flower potions!
My daughter could make a “potion” out of anything! And I mean anything! All you do is grab a bowl and have the kiddos pick little wild flowers to fill it!
Rock hunts:
We have a rock playground and my daughter loves to walk around in it looking for smooth, colored, shiny, or just any kind of rocks that meets her fancy!
DIY hop scotch!
If you already have that chalk bucket out is super easy to make a DIY chalk hopscotch on the porch.
