During the semester when I am attending college I really like to have a school lesson plan for my daughter so it is super easy to home-school her. Well maybe not “super” easy, but it is easier than planning out each individual lesson myself.
Our Experience with ABC Mouse:
Last August we tried the ABC mouse preschool program. While this program was great when we actually got to see a lesson, it lagged horribly on our computers and smart devices. It would take seven to ten minutes to load any lesson or activity. To tell you the truth this was way to long for a little kid to sit and watch something spin. We deleted our membership to this program because of its lagging.
It might work better on your devices, I don’t know. The content itself was very educational and fun for kids. If you want to try it for free for 30 days to see how it works you can use this like to do so: TRY IT FREE FOR 30 DAYS.
Chalk Preschool:
Chalk preschool is a program which gives daily lesson plans that include videos and hands on exercises. This includes worksheets that you can print out so your kids can follow along. It is put on by a brick and mortar preschool online. If is offered for a $9.97 fee for those who wish to participate online. From what I have read, they also have an area with fun educational kids videos. This reminds me of an educational Netflix for kids. They don’t even neglect physical exercise or healthy eating because they have classes built into their curriculum for these needs.
I am trying this program for 14 days free to see if it will load properly and work for our educational needs this upcoming year. They claim to get kids kindergarten ready as well. If you want to do a free trial with me then be sure to click the link here to access Chalk Preschool for 14 days free!
