Easter is such a wonderful time to learn about Jesus and read the bible to your kids. With all the commercialization of Easter (the eggs, the bunny etc.) its also full of great learning opportunities! you can do DIY crafts, learn about colors, counting, and so much more. So lets dive right into some of the Easter homeschool fun bucket list activities to prepare for the up and coming holiday!

Make a Grateful List during your Easter Homeschool Session:

If you can’t tell at this point, I really love making lists! For this preschool activity grab a pen or marker and a little notebook and talk about being thankful, write down some of the things you and your littles are thankful for this Easter Season. Gratitude isn’t just a Thanksgiving thing, so expand it into the springtime of your year!

Listen to a sermon of podcast with you kiddos!

While some sermons will loose kids attention fast, you can darken the room and put out battery operated candles and make it a candle lit service in your own home. Some of the ministries that typically address Easter are Girl Defined and revive our hearts.

This is a classic activity, that my little and I do every year! Classic but messy and full of learning opportunities. Talk about, and have them identify the colors of the eggs, DIY, and crayons you guys use to decorate them. You can also count the eggs. For instance lay out a few eggs (differing amounts each time) and have your little count them. We got the Pearl Easter Egg kit to make some supper girly Easter eggs!
