Do you have a favorite morning routine? With a morning routine you start your day off organized, its efficient, and you get out the door (closer to ) on time. I’ve tried multiple morning routines in the past, like my how the heck do you make it to an 8 am class morning routine. (I’ll admit that one was pretty stressed, but somewhat worked.) This morning routine is my all time favorite though. Ill walk you through it and maybe you to can get some ideas for creating or recreating your morning routines to better fit your schedule.

I typically wake up between 5:30-6:30. AND I DON’T GET OUT OF BED. Yes, you read that right. I start out by creating fresh pins for my blog to post on Pinterest, or doing other Pinterest/blog related things.

Around 6:30 I like to get up and take a bath or shower. If I take a bath one thing I absolutely love to do is read my bible and light a candle. This is such a relaxing way to start the day.

Around 7:00 I start putting on makeup, getting dressed, and feeding/medicating whatever animals we have that need it.

Around 7:30 is when I typically start waking up my little one. I start out by reading her some of the bible as she is waking up. Then we get her dressed and into the breakfast table. In the mornings we do preschool and breakfast at roughly the same time. If I am makign breakfast then she will work on preschool first (get some free preschool worksheets here). If we have something simple like cereal, we typically munch while I help/teach her the assignments. About two to three days a week we utilize ABC mouse on my smart phone to change things up a bit.

Around 8:30 we are ready to leave, we pack our last minute bags, and do the last minute teeth brushing.

This makes us ready to leave the house by 8:45 if we need to. It takes care of preschool, breakfast, and beatification. as well as some great mommy relax time, and most importantly (defiantly not least) time with Jesus.
