Preschool Activities for little kids can be so much more than the traditional crying box activities. Here’s a few silly preschool Activities we’ve been doing this week, hopefully they inspire you to shake up your homeschool preschool routines.

Fun with shapes:

Our first out of the crayon box preschool activity is fun with shapes! For this activity you just draw shapes and have your kids name them off as you draw them!

For more to do with this activity, you could get some fun shaped blocks and have the kiddos trace around them, or name them! You can find a variety of fun shaped block sets on amazon below!

Fun with Letters!

Kids learn well when they are playing games! For this preschool activity you can draw out a tic-tac-toe board on anything and use two different letters for each game you play! Is it going to be X’s vs O’s or A’s Vs P’s? You decide!

Grab a dry erase board for your tic tac toe for fun hours of reuse. You can find many fun dry erase boards on amazon for little games, lessons, and more at home! You can grab this amazing set with markers and erasers here!

Fun with Logic:

This is a small download from Google play. I have it on my phone! It is a silly game to get kiddos thinking and putting things together. It also works to teach them of new ways to think of larger word and phrases.

Fun With Creativity: Preschool Activities

Play based preschool activities wither they are used to teach sensory, fine motor skills, or the traditional ABC’s are always a hit! You might want to start a play based preschool program! We have the guide to starting one here!

Playing with the toy food is literally one of my daughters FAVORITE play based preschool activities! We have the wooden Melissa and Doug sets, the play stoves, and Toy Velcro cakes! You can shop these items ALL on amazon!

Pretend Shop:

Another favorite play-based preschool game around our house is to set up a toy shop with all of the fake food or house hold items. We have the perfect printable set for making a shop on the fly!

With this printable you have all the fake coins, price tags, and various other methods of “payment” you might be interested in teaching your kiddos about! The coins and tags are color coordinated as well! This helps the little kids who haven’t learned numbers yet have an easier time playing. You can get your copy of the pretend shop printable here!
