This is a post that is totally over due, but one I’ve been pretty excited about for awhile! For Christmas I was gifted the totally awesome home spa set! It included multiple packages with tons of fun and lavish supplies to pamper yourself! A single mama should always look and feel her best! If you’ve been feeling a little down or frumpy lately, and have some Christmas money/a little money left over from this week’s budget, then check out these awesome home spa products that are well worth the investment!
We will break this down into categories to make it a little easier to view what you might be interested in!
Relaxation:
As for relaxation goes I love love love a good hot pack, but sometimes a cold pack, ya know? These gel beads pillows and masks are fantastic. They feel like little water beds (since they are filled with squishy water beads). It’s fantastic! They take about 30 seconds to warm up, and an hour in the freezer if you’d rather have them cold. The best part is it lasts for hours! The hot stocking stuffer item of 2018 was the dollar scalp massagers! It’s just one of those fun little trinkets to have on hand, and plus they look tots adorbs in a spa kit!
Hair:
These are my all time favorite hair care products, and this comb/pick is so neat! The Garnier Frutis Style Volumizing Hairspray (Hold 3) is a life saver for when I crimp or curl my hair, it’s only a few dollars, (definitely not has much as a lot of the other volumizing sprays) but a bottle this size will last me almost all year (I do tend to stretch it to save money, but what single mom doesn’t!) Next is the Dove, intensive Repair conditioner and shampoo set! It works great for damaged hair like mine, but it also doesn’t was how hair die or high lights (that are professionally done) I used a shampoo once that literally stripped the highlights out of my hair and that was so disappointing as you can probably imagine. Comment if you have a similar story! Lastly, I love this comb! It’s actually a double pick, with a comb handle in periwinkle!
Body:
Alright let’s take this from left to right! Shimmy to the left now shimmy that body to the right! Lol Anyhow I’m a little sleep deprived while writing this post, so enjoy the humor! The left bottle isn’t really “home spa” unless you have a tanning bed at home. But mama loves her tanning salon so I figured I’d throw it in. A trip to the tanning salon is like the ultimate relaxation. This tanning lotion is the Ultra Dark White Bronzer Champagne Campaign by Playboy. I don’t know about you, but that name just sounds sexy to me! When u press the button on the top, the little compartment that squirts pops up. For the life of me I’m pretty sure that has a name…but like I said it’s late and I can’t remember it! Anyhow when you squirt some out it smells a little like vanilla, and slot like that more classic tanning salon smell. The bottle, the smell, the design, if this bottle where a man, I’d marry it! 😉 Next is the totally delightful smelling beautiful day bath and body fragrance mist! It is my all time favorite for multiple years running. It has even snagged me a boyfriend (dear John, remember him?) Lastly there is the Hemp Body Moisturizer from Moist. It’s for dry skin, smells really good, and it’s the only lotion I can use that doesn’t cause me to scratch my skin off! It doesn’t contain cocoa butter, or aloe which are two of those lotion ingredients that I can’t tolerate. Here’s a shot of the back of the bottle so you can Check out the ingredients yourself!
