Kick off your St. Pat’s Celebration!!!!

  •

St. Pat’s day is fast approaching. While it’s a party day for some, here at Mommy Daughter Love we make tones of crafts, fun snacks, and leprechaun traps! To launch our St. Pat’s festivities off we have two super fun cut out crafts for you! My daughter has been perfecting her ability to use scissors, and loves to cut out pretty much anything. So, we’ve been cracking out the green and gold paper!

For the first activity we are going to share with you we made a paper pot of gold. Start out by drawing a semi circle on some green construction paper and then on a pice of yellow (or gold) draw a grid. Then just hand them over to your kid! (Yeah we’ve been in a rhyming sort of mood lately too!) Have your child cut out all this stuff with some safty scissors. They can glue all the pieces of gold onto the pot they cut out. Tada, you have your cute pot of gold craft!

The next craft we will be blogging about today is how to make DIY St. Pat’s day puzzles. These are done with markers, construction paper, and safty scissors! The two of you can draw whatever St. Pats themed thing you want on your construction paper, I drew a shamrock and a leprechaun for our puzzles and my daughter colored them and as an added bonus put on one sticker embelshments. It doesn’t matter if your this great artist or if your daughter is a rock star with scissors. What matters is that your little girl is having fun!

Hope you guys enjoyed these St. Pat’s crafts, leave comments with more craft ideas you would like us to try!

Xoxo
