Oh Valentines day, so many things can be said about the holiday, from a money pit, to singleness awareness day, to the perfect day to pop the question. But, how about giving it a twist, and making it the perfect learning opportunity. That just what we’ve done for you all here today. Just think of all the fun things you can do to inspire a love of learning and kindness in your children! So lets jump right in to the valentine’s preschool activities!

Making Valentines!

Together, the two of you could make valentine for the other kids at daycare, for elderly at nursing homes around your town, or just for various family members. Maybe you are feeling super ambitious, or like a super slave driver, and you want to have your kids craft valentines for all of the categories! its up to you, but whichever category you all choose I’m sure it will be a great act of valentines kindness.

If you need a really fast set up for making valentine’s then be sure to check out our Valentine’s day Printable! This printable is 6 pages long and makes for a great afternoon of crafting with your little kiddos! As an added bonus for valentine’s preschool activities it also use this printable to teach fine motor skills and colors! Grab your cute craft pack today (instant download)!

Dry Erase Board Shapes:

Is it a heart or not? That is to be determined. With this activity you can do things like draw a bunch of shapes, with hearts mixed in and have them point to all the hearts on the dry erase board. You could also have your little tot identify all of the shapes. Another great idea you could do with a dry erase board and some markers is draw a big heart, and have them make it disappear by tracing it with the eraser. Honestly this method would also work for teaching any shape. Shop all of our favorite Preschool Supplies here:

Bake Valentines Treats!

Valentines treats all over Pinterest always look so adorable, and why not get your kids some practical cooking skills while they are young. Have them help you make some tasty treats for the family this season!

V is for Valentine: Valentine Preschool Activities

Will you be my valentine and join me for a preschool activity? Here’s a really simple one. You can either print out a fun worksheet here, or you can bubble letter a V and write “is for valentines” if you don’t have a printer handy (or if yours has run out of ink like mine almost always does!). Have your little one color it, trace it, or fill it in with some crafty stickers! This year we did something fun, and filled it in with Fruit Loops!

Cute Valentines Pipe People!

This one is an interesting one, with endless possibilities ranging from counting to creative play, to fine moter skills. So you can get red, pink, and white pipe cleaners and bend them into the shape of stick figures. as you and your littles are doing this you can have them count out beads, bend the pipe cleaners themselves, or turn them into puppets and put on a play when you are done! (P.S. they would also look cute on valentines!

Thanks for stopping by the blog today and have a super great Valentine’s day!
