If you are looking to get your kids active inside you’ve found your activity. Bonding time is so important for kids, and burning of some of their pint up energy is an added bonus. Just think, with an active activity you are also getting some exercise yourself! This morning we tried balloon badminton…it was simple, we used common household items and it was a lot of fun. That’s one thing I love with activities, lots of fun and minimal prep work! To make this activity easier for you to remembered, I’ve included a printable activity sheet at the bottom of the post! It’s something you can put in your activity binder (or Pinterest board if your like me) so you have quick and easy access to all the mother daughter activities in your arsenal!
Let’s dive into the fun part now, the actual activity. We had such a great time bopping the balloon around and other family members even joined in! Here’s what you’ll need.
Supplies list:
- two paper plates
- to Popsicle sticks
- duct tape (get unicorn duct tape here)
- a balloon
Instructions:
First, duct tape the popsicle sticks on to the back of paper plates. Next, you blow up your balloon. Lastly, you proceeded to bop the balloon back and forth with your little ones! It’s as simple as that to create a bonding activity!
Enjoy and share the love!
