Today I woke up with a really bad headache after a whole night filled with nightmares. I honestly didn’t feel like doing any kind of activities today. We Spent the morning cuddle on the couch watching Disney Junior and I kind of felt like a slacker. but don’t worry tour in the afternoon I was able to pick it up and we were able to still make today awesome by doing several fun activities. First girl, I wanted to share with you one activity to do that I did while I wasn’t feeling real well and that you can do to!

Ride on Amusement Park.

First activity I set up while I wasn’t feeling very well. It’s known as the ride on amusement park where I dug out all my daughters fun ride on toys to let her play with. For this activity all I had to do is sit on the couch and cheer her on and that was basically all I could do. I did this while I munched on cheese cubes. It’s simply just have a space cleared out on the floor for your kid to ride around and then line up there right on toys. You can turn the TV on while they’re doing it or you can play some fun music as well if your head feels like it.

Potato Roll Painting

this afternoon when I started to feel better we did this activity. I looked at the activity of the day from the get active inside challenge brought to you by hands on as we grow. It involved paint potatoes and some sort of try to roll the potatoes around. For further information about this activity you can look at their activity printable that they emailed to me.

We don’t have potatoes here though as I mentioned in an earlier post about this challenge. I also thought it would be really messy to roll anything around on a baking sheet. they said for smaller codes or just to have less mess you could use something like a box and secure the paper inside of it. Since we also didn’t have potatoes I decided to use rocks. Yeah, I’ll admit we’re pretty much changing this entire activity around. So, now we have shake the rocks in a box. While we shook the box we listened to the Disney’s Zombies soundtrack. It’s one of my daughter’s favorite.

Polly Pocket Blockus

My headache came and went today we can more active the activity I felt like I started to feel really bad. so after I get moving ativity we did a very silly calming sit down activity. activity can be done with any kind of board game and any kind of toy. We chose to combined the game blockus with Polly Pockets. from there you just use your imagination we made the block is stiles haves for a Polly Pockets to walk on or even swim on like a waterfall. It was a simple bonding activity that allowed for a lot of fun (for about a half hour).

Reading and Games:

The next activity was another board game and some books. Check out all of our latest books we’ve been reading go to the bottom of this blog post and you can see are Goodreads feed. Feel free to follow us on Goodreads as well. Our goal this year is to read 2019 books. it’s proven to be harder than I thought as we’re only about 31 books in. The books we read where the little monsters series of books and the game we played with crocodile dentist. Dentist goes great with the series of books because one of the books actually has a chomping crocodile. For this activity I could just lay on the couch or sit on the floor while we played in read.

Taking Fun Selfies:

This is an activity you can literally do while sitting on the floor, the couch, or basically anywhere. We typically use the Snapchat filters to take selfies and save them but there is a large variety of other cameras that you can use for Android or iPhone as well. Check out this adorable and you filter they have that makes you look like you’re in a blizzard.
