Think of it as your Christmas muckbang without the food! I’m so excited to share with you the finishing touches of my single mom Christmas! I’ve been a single mom for a few years now and this is the first Christmas that I’m actually excited about being a single mom for Christmas, but also the first Christmas that I feel like I’m pulled together! We have multiple trees up this year, as well as stocking, and I’ve made our mommy daughter love Christmas card (the first of it’s kind!). We have a couple other tricks up our sleeve as well!

Here’s my single mom successful Christmas Check list!

1.) Christmas Movie Bonding time:

This is one I’ve posted about earlier in the season. Just the feeling of cuddling up watching Christmas movies on the TV, or renting some is amazing. Check out how to have a budget friendly single mom Christmas movie night here!

2.) Stockings and presents:

So my daughter and I got each person in the family a little cute gift. For the ladies, we put the gifts in the 99 cent buckets from Walmart to make them look extra cute! We put up out stocking about 9 days till Christmas and a day later, our sneaking elf was diving for goodies santa had dropped in during the night!

3.) Mommy Daughter Christmas Trees:

Yep, we have a mama tree and a baby tree! Check them out Bellow, this year I did and elegant manicon tree, while my daughter’s tree has a cute little hat!

+ Our ornament of the year!

4.)DIY Gingerbread Village:

So we have our tutorial for cheap gingerbread houses out of Graham cracker here. We’ve added to it with graham cracker tents, popsicle sticks elves, and cookie tables!

5.) Awesome Elf on the Shelf:

Our elf is super sneaky, silly and creative. But most of all, she does a lot of really simple things. So check out some of the fun here!

7.) Christmas Music:

I love pulling out our radio, listening to the music choice holiday station on our tv or playing a Christmas station on YouTube! This December had been filled with dancing to Christmas tunes!

8.) Letter to Santa:

My little girl doesn’t know how to write yet, but she dictated an adorbs Christmas letter for me to write for her this year! Then she colored it, and sealed it with a sticker. We put it in our old Santa mail box!

9.) Cookies like Crazy:

Yep this year we’ve been making cookies like crazy, and in fridays post you’ll get to see some of our fun Christmas creations!

10.) Christmas Card!
