I’ve been thinking back on all the Christmas’s I’ve had with my little girl, and some of the holiday, Christmas traditions we’ve formed.
I’ll admit I’ve thought of some pretty awesome Christmas traditions over the years, some of them have lasted, , and some of them haven’t.

I love the idea of creating Christmas traditions that are passed down generation to generation, or really just throughout my daughters childhood would do.
Each era of life comes with different aspects though, so Traditions shift and change. We do have some that have lasted since her first Christmas’s though. Take a look and maybe you’ll get some ideas for your families Christmas.

Christmas traditions that have lasted in our family:

1.) Reading a book of the Bible to my daughter through the month of December. This year we are reading the book of John.
2.) Opening stocking and playing music together as a family on Christmas Eve.
3.) Elf on the shelf!
4.) Making a gingerbread house.
5.) Making a Christmas ornament for each member of the family, as gifts.
6.) Opening up gifts on Christmas morning!
7.) Watching Christmas movies
8.) Having hot cocoa by the Christmas try after it’s been put up.
9.) Making a hand print craft!

10.) Setting out milk and cookies for Santa!

Christmas traditions that were only around one year:

1.) Making a cake for Jesus’s birthday. (I’m not a good cake maker)
2.) A thankful jar.
3.) Playing in the snow
4.) Reading a Christmas book each day for the 25 days of Christmas!
5.) Cute Christmas photos

Something fun we did this year?
