“Classic” fall activities for asthma kids.

  •

So fall, you have all the cute fall and Halloween decorations, the back to school atmosphere, and the cool windy nights…that trigger up asthma around our home. Aw the falling leaves and changing seasons. But, you can’t let that stop you from enjoying a fun filled fall season with your asthma kiddo.

So, we are pooling together a bunch of those traditional fall activities, and making them asthma friendly, as well as telling you about some of our own fall traditions! Enjoy these 10 fun activities with your asthma kiddos!

1.) Roasting Marshmallows:

A little something my daughter and I love to do is roast marshmallows with the metal camp fire sticks over the stove. They are still delishous, with no fire smoke for my little one.

2.) Decorate Pumpkins:

This is a tradition for us! We decorate pumpkins each year and have since my girl was little (or smaller than she is now).

3.) Trick or Treating:

There are so many options for trick or treating, we are considering going to a trunk or treat, and hopefully picking one on a non-rainy, and non-windy day!

4.) Pumpkin patch/petting Zoo

5.) Make a haunted house:
This year we are making a “spook bathroom”. We will have about a $10 budget for props. This is something my daughter is super excited about, and will probably be a post in itself!

6.) Halloween Crafts

7.) Leaf painting

8.) Evening hot cocoa

9.) Costume shopping

10.) Spookly the square pumpkin movie night.

This is on Disney Jr. Every year and it is such a cute movie to watch!

11.) Eat pumpkin cookies!

I love, love, love, the little Debbie pumpkin rolls and pumpkin shapped cookies with filling!
