Happy Labor Day everyone!!!!!!!

Come along with us as we adventure through the toddler bucket list on one of our days off together!

1.) Watch a movie together

So, our movie of choice, which you have probably heard of at this point if you’ve been around the blog long is legends of Oz.

2.) Sensory activity

I always feel like on a normal day with class and work this messy activity is pretty hard to squeeze in. Today we made some fun fake snow! It could be shaped, formed into a ball, scooped, or just squished!

Recipe for fake snow:

1 1/2 cups baking soda

3 cups of shaving cream

So, all you have to do is squirt in your shaving cream, then pour the baking soda in. Stir together with a spoon or swish with hands to mix.

3.) Painting:

Welcome to easy clean up painting with a toddler! I did the set up below in our bathtub, just so I could easily wash away the excess paint. It was a good thing to because she ended up painting her legs purple.

This was super messy but super easy to clean up.

4.) Cooking

Yea guys I’ll admit I cheated a little on this one. I got a single mug cake, packet and all I had to do was add three tbsp of water and microwave for a minute and a half. But we did add sprinkles.

There you have it: a four-part bucket list of activities to do on your day off! Don’t forget to make lots of memories, and enjoy you little one while they are small. They are so precious.
