Ladies, I can’t tell you enough how cool it would be to go out on a boat as a shark researcher! The more we take glimpses of shark week the more hyped up I get about it!

For today’s fun shark week facts: we learned that sharks LOVE to eat seals, and that the great white shark population is on the rise! We got to see a shark cage dive. My daughter was memorized, but said she would never do that.

To celebrate shake week today, we have two super fun shark/ocean themed activities for you, and your little ones.

Shark Week Ice Cream in a Bag!

I’m sure everyone has their own variation of how to make ice cream in a bag. My daughter and I had a blast, she laughed pretty much the whole time we were dancing and shaking the bag. We had the discovery channel on shark week, instead of music for our dance party this time. Here’s are shark themed recipe!

Ingredients:

1 cup skim milk
3 tbsp sugar
2 tsp Vanilla Extract
1/4 tsp blue food coloring
Lots of ice
1 Gallon ziplock bag, Sandwich Bag
Swedish fish
1/2 cup table salt

Instructions:

1.) In a measuring cup measure 1 cup of milk, and mix in sugar, vanilla extract, and food coloring.
2.) Pour it into the sandwich bag.
3.) Fill the gallon ziplock bag half full of ice, pour in salt, and place sealed sandwich bag into the ziplock bag with ice.
4.) Fill the remaining ziplock bag with ice.
5.) Shake for five minutes!
6.) Top ice cream with swedish fish

**Optional: put into a grocery store bag to shake…it makes it less cold.

Shark Bowl Aquariums:

These cute shark bowl aquariums are just plates cut across the top to look like fish bowls. Then have your toddler decorate with shake and fish stickers, and bent pipe cleaners!
