On this rainy last day of vacation when it was time to say goodbye to the island life I have to admit I wasn’t sad.
This island had a lot of appeal for someone who just desires to relax on an uncrowded beach, with beautiful waves for bogie boarding.
This briefed bit of island life experience was a once in a life time opportunity of witnessing a place set back in time, where life is slower, and all the locals are friendly. There were no billboards, or commercial advertisement on the island the photo ops were endless (if it weren’t for the wind.)
I saw so many fishermen enjoying fishing on the bay side, and many retired couples and their dogs enjoying a few of the ocean that was absolutely spectacular. I can imagine it offered a chance to rekindle the love of marriage, and would be a great place to retire and slow down.
The island itself was absolutely gorgeous, with its white sandy beaches, and interesting beach finds. Here’s a few of the things we came across on the beach:
But with all of this said, I must admit I would not go back to this island. After the spell my daughter had hear, I now firmly believe island life is not for us.
