Happy Spring! It is looking like a great week of spring activities here on the blog! If you missed it, my last post was the FREE spring flowers printable activity! Be sure to check it out here! Lets get started with our awesome list of spring activities to do with the kiddos!

DIY Stained Glass Windows!

This activity is SUPER easy. You cut out a rectangular window in black construction paper and then tape some wax paper on the back. Still on the back have kids glue on squares of tissue paper using stick glue! Put the back side up to a window so the light shines through!

Umbrella Crafts

Another really cute spring craft is the paper plate umbrella! using half of a paper plate have the kiddos decorate it like the top of the umbrella. Use the bottom half of the paper plate to make the handle. The next step is optional, but you can have the kiddos cut out rain drops and attach them to the umbrella with string! This will make it look like it is raining!

Wadding pool!

It is just about time to crack out the wadding pool! So exciting! We filled our plastic pool up the other day about an inch and waded around in it singing the ABC sounds song! Great fun! If you haven’t gotten your kids pool yet, then it is about time! Be sure to check out these cool kids pools you can order on amazon!

DIY Rainbow Tic-Tac Sorting

his is for all the tic-tac loving kids like my daughter! The other day we got some of the mixed fruit tic-tacs. They have four different colored tic-tacs in them! Have the kiddos sort out the colors of the tic-tacs into different containers! My daughter loved it! Spent like an entire 45 minutes on this project of hers!

DIY “Water Table”

Do you have your water table yet this year? We don’t have ours yet but it has been unseasonably hot several days this spring! So, we made our own “water table” our of some of the buckets we had! We brought out some rubber ducks and a variety of scooping spoons to play with in the water table! Be sure to grab your water table (or buckets) off amazon before they all sell out!

Chalk Hair Dye!

I let my five year old dye my hair! Yep, you read that right! We both chalk dyed out hair! My daughters was pink highlights and mine was blue! The chalk hair washes right out super easily! Shortly after we chalked my hair, I tried a new look! My mom dyed my hair with some of her left over hair color! What an adventure it was!

This chalk hair dye is soooo easy to apply that a 5 year old can put it in your hair! Literally. These open like a compact mirror. With these there is a sponge on one side and the chalk on the other. You press your strip of hair in between them and pull it down to the end of your hair! Get your set on amazon for around $10 here!

Take baby dolls outside with the kiddos!

Have the kiddos take some of their baby dolls outside! They can put them in their little bike baskets and go for a ride, or set them on a blanket for a picnic! We did this the other day, and my daughter had such a GOOD time!

Make an Earth Craft!

Our last spring related activity for today is to have the kiddos create a little earth. Just give them some blue and green construction paper! You can show them a picture of the earth and let them create their own version!

Happy Spring! Oh the weather is defiantly starting to look a lot like spring! Be sure to save lives and stay home as much as possible this week everyone! I hope this post finds you all well!
